Great Mexican food and awesome blues music from Al Ek and the Shuffelaires every Tuesday night.
We went there on a Friday night for dinner. We could hear music when we went inside and ask the hostess if we could sit near where the band was playing. They had a jazz band playing, apparently, they have a jazz band there every Friday night. Which we thought was kind of odd that a Mexican restaurant had a jazz band. We liked the jazz bands music, just thought they were out of place. The lighting was pretty dim, so dim that we couldn't read the menu. Was good while it lasted. The south Durango location (my location) closed their doors. Very sad to see it shut down. Some staff said the owner didn't want to pay the increase in the rent. Shame shame shame. Was our regular weekly stop.
Arrived @ 7pm to watch the band...unfortunately the temperature is 90 degrees....told the A/C has been broken all day....dealt with a rude staff member....nobody has answers.....don't think I would ever come back.....
Great food and sevice. Can't wait to see some music there.
