Jalapeno's Mexican Restaurant is the most authentic around. This is the best mexican food around! I know that you can't depend on good mexican in a fisherman's town, but this place takes the tortilla. Only downside is that one time we went there only to find it closed randomly - AND it was on a friday night! Boo.

I visited with my 8 year old son and Mom last weekend and we had the best time! The service was great - our waitress couldn’t have been kinder and helped us vegetarians navigate the extensive menu. And the food was delicious! But the real highlight was one of the owners taking the time to chat with us about his grandson, which resulted in a paper airplane vs toy truck race down the length of the bar. We could not have been made to feel more welcome and it was a highlight of our trip, especially for my son...
