On 8/9/21 the stylist/owner exposed my stepson to Covid and violated the Alameda County mask mandate during a haircut two days before school started! When she told us of her positive Covid status we asked if she was wearing a mask as the law requires (Alameda County Health Order 21-03, effective 8/3/21), she said "no, I never have" and that you "assume the risk" when coming in. Katie is the best! I would recommend her to anyone! My hair looks and performs better that it ever has, and trust me, I’m no teenager! Lol Katie is very talented, knowledgeable and understanding. She knows exactly how to cut my baby fine hair to make it look full and healthy. In addition to that, she is a magician with color! She always takes time to reassess how the current cut is working for me, offers suggestions for changing things up a bit, and will tell you whether a style you’ve chosen doesn’t suit your hair type. I have been going to Katie for about 8 years now. She is the nest hairdresser Inhave ever been to and continues to amaze. I have had red hair for over 25years and my hair has never looked better. The red is beautiful, long lasting and so nice and shiny. I could not imagine leaving Katie after trying so many salons to perfect my red color. She’s the only one who can do it right. You wouldn’t be disappointed going to Katie!!
