No perm in 2.5 yrs.. I went to Jakotes on 7/25/09 and I must say Crystal is the BOMB, she hooked my hair up and Sharmika did my daughter hair we went for my sister wedding and believe me I am trying to get back over there just trying to figure out when--I will return Crystal!!!
Great for Natural hair I went to Jakotes on a referral and I am in love. I have been wearing my hair naturally pressed for a little over a year, but didn't think I could find a stylist with a flexible schedule, inexpensive, and a master stylist - boy was I wrong. I was impressed with the professionalism of the stylist. I for one can't stand sitting in the shop an extended period of time. Always Great Service i have been going to jakotes since i forst got to atlanta in 2004 and charmika is THE BOMBDOTCOM! she helped me transition from relaxed to natural and is the only stylist to get my curly, wavy, crazy hair to act right for longer than 2 weeks. I even bring my mother to her when she comes to town. shoot, my friend is getting married this weekend and i'm trying to get squeezed in.
The best hair salon ever Jakotes is the best hair salon in ATL, it is in a very easy to find location on MLK Dr, easily accessible to anyone attending the schools in the AUC, and the prices are reasonable. Also, I fly from Boston to Atlanta twice per year to get my hair done in this salon. I will not allow anyone to touch my hair other than my stylist.My stylist is Sharmika, however Crystal is also there and does a wonderful job. They take care of everything-cuts, color, relaxers, eyebrows, etc. Patrice A. M.
Eyebrows I got my eyebrows done here for the first time and never had them done anywhere as well since. I know to always return here for a perfect look because he knows how to take just enough off.
