Used to be fantastic, we just went recently and the food was mediocre and it took forever to get our meals.
Prices are very high for the type of BBQ .The sausage is tasty, with just a hint of spice, but they use too much sugar in their sauce for the pulled pork. The brisket was dry, in facy it's not BBQ in the true sense, more like grilled meats. I know BBQ as cooked smoked low and slow. This is not it.
My family and I have ate here for the last 2 years and the food and service has been slowly dwindling over that time. Today was our worst experience. The food was cold, the pop was flat, and the service was terrible. I want to continue coming here because I know Jake's can be a great place to eat and a family oriented atmosphere, BUT I am discouraged with the restaurant right now! Please re-evaluate your staff as a whole.
Used to be the goat, now it’s the woat. Overpriced and all the good menu items are gone.
