Breakfast is our specialty but we are a full service diner serving all meals. We have won many awards including Best Breakfast, Business of Year, Red Cross Heroes award, and Locals Choice amongst others. We are also well known for our Burgers, Sandwiches, and the Richest Milkshakes in town (using real Ice Cream and Whole Milk. We are a local Mom and Pop who gives back generously to the community that keeps it alive.

I used to love going to jakes!! I never had any issues. Until last Sunday I got sick and have Shiga Toxin E. coli from them! I have never been so sick in my life! Spent almost all day yesterday in the hospital doing tests (without insurance) just to find out, that I have this kind of E Coli and that I just have to deal with the pain for around 10 days! Portions are ginormous. We each had the chicken fried steak breakfast. Neither one of us could even eat half of it. We are big eaters. It was delicious. Staff is great. Highly recommend.

Everything, I’ve never had a bad meal. If one has growing boys and a husband who like to chow down —- then this is the place. I say this for the men because you know us girls we try to watch our figures I believe it’s still family run. They are so courteous and friendly. Just like before when it was Jake’s Truck Stop. I was sad when we couldn’t find it after they detoured around Bend to put the freeway in
