The owner and staff are great people. Honest workmanship and good prices. You won't be disappointed.
It's rare for me to take the time to write a review, but I felt this was very neccessary. We had a bearing go out on my boat trailer yesterday morning while on the way to go fishing. Figured our trip was now done. Happened to stop in front of this shop. After a few minutes of us evaluating, the owner came out and asked if we needed help. I have been using Jake's Automotive for the past few years after recommendations from family and friends and have never been disappointed. Recently I had a taillight issue and Jake's scheduled me within hours of my call for a same-day appointment. During the repair, Jason the mechanic assigned to my vehicle, assessed the problem and correctly stated it was a factory defect that he could fix but it was something that should not require a special fix and the problem was subsequently resolved quickly. Locally owned and honest people! BOTH are kind of rare these days :)
I broke down in their parking lot on Christmas Eve. They were closed and trying to enjoy their holiday party. They still came out, fixed me up and gave me a place to scrub off the grease. Didn't ask for a thing in return. Great guys! Thank you Gary and Matt! I'll be in next week to get a permanent fix!
