Jaker's Bar & Grill has the best onion rings in town! I also concur that their salad bar is phenomenal. Also the Spicy Thai salad with seared Ahi Tuna is beyond incredible. I find that the atmosphere is better than just casual. The staff is wonderful and very well trained in menu and food preparation. We love going to Jaker's with family and friends.
Restaurant Upscale casual is my description of Jaker's. I found the onion rings to be the best I have ever had. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I found that the staff is more than willing to do whatever it takes to make your dining experience special. The portion size is just right. The food is fresh and very favorable. Love those scones! Jaker's is easily one of my favorite places to dine in Missoula. The food is always great, and if you are just a little bit hungry the soup and salad bar is perfect (I endorse the potato soup, complete with garnishes!). The last time I was in, our server was John, and he did a great job. He made us feel very welcome and took care of all of our concerns. The staff works together well, and it shows in their service. I agree with Karen's review below about the Salad Bar. It is phenomenal, I always try and get a smaller plate when I go in, but come out with a heaping monstrosity of goodness. Did I mention they have some delectable Potato soup with all of the trimmings at the salad bar too? The service has always been incredible, they are great with kids, and give out a coloring sheet/menu and a nice clean packet of crayons. Best Salad Bar in Town – I don't eat at Jaker's for dinner, but I eat lunch there at least once a month. Although their lunch menu has lots of great options, I almost always go for the salad bar. Great selection of greens, lots of toppings including egg, cheese, bacon bits, almonds, seeds, mushrooms, other veggies and side salads (pasta, potato, etc.) Best is fresh chilled shrimp -- ask for cocktail sauce if you'd like to make fresh shrimp cocktail! Great specials If you haven't been in, you have to find some excuse to go there! Great menu selection and drink specials and a salad bar to top it off! My girlfiends and I each had what whe wanted!
