Sports bar or mexican resturant? – I used to frequent this place because it was your quitiessential sports bar. They had a few hotties, lots of TV's and decent prices. However, I am forced to bring my boys else where. The prices went way up and there isnt a cute girl to be found. Good but expensive – The place has alot of tv's and the staff is accommodating.We ordered appetizers which were good,the only thing was that it's pretty expensive.If it were less expensive it would be a great place to watch a game, but the bill here adds up quick.It is clean and spacious, and the chicken fingers are very good(but expensive).
Huge ripoff. BOYCOTT THIS PLACE!!!!!!! – RIPOFF!!! $8.95 posted lunch special is supposed to be good till 4:00 PM and implies that soup is included. I ordered at 3:50 PM and staff acknowledged that lunch special price was still in effect. I was charged $6.00 extra for soup and $10.95 for my sandwich. Staff refused to adjust tab. Guinness is $7.00 for a 12 oz fake pint. Never going back!!!
GREAT PLACE – This place is absolutely AMAZING! My girlfriends and I were shopping in Chelsea last week and decided afterwards to have a drink or two. We spotted Jake?s Saloon and decided to go in and check it out. It was the best selection we ever made! Great food, Lively atmosphere – I love the food at Jake's Saloon. I often walk three or four avenues out of my way to get there. When I am in need of a filling meal, this is where I go. The food is hearty and full of flavor, but not pretentious. They do burgers and steaks equally well. Not to mention chicken and pasta. The last meal I had there was the crab cake po' boy with remoulade. Superb. The staff is very friendly. Fun Atmosphere – Great Fun! I went with a bunch of friends. The bartenders were attentive and very outgoing. Gotta try the Jakes Ale...I usually don't care for ales due to the hops. But the bartender insisted I give it a try. It was so good, the hops was so smooth...I had 3 of them. I also enjoyed the crowd. This place attracts young professionals from surrounding businesses. I will be back soon !!!
Great Addition to Chealsea Area – Delicious beers and food at reasonable prices. Self labelled Jakes Ale is an outrageous must have. The Well designed charming Interiors host several flat screen TV's and a quaint dining area. Happy hour specials are perfect for after work.
Average pub with overpriced beers – This is a decent place...but that is it. Decent. You'll pay $7 for a guinness that is shaped like an imperial pint, but smaller. A place like this has no business charging seven bucks for a beer. This should be a place you go when you DON'T want to pay a premium (more than usual) for a drink.
perfect place to watch your sporting events..these guys are very accomadating – on numerous occassions I have walk in and requested out of state games..these guys actually accommadated me very time...thumbs up guys...thanks for your fantastic hospitality..
