I have been having a great deal of knee pain and difficulties walking up and down stairs, also new arm pain with edema since Dr. Ritt took me off my rheumatoid medications. After a quick arm exam he state this is not from RA. He reviewed my pain meds and advised me on taking them. No bedside manner. Dismissed all my concerns. Rude and visible ungracious to answer questions
Horrible Doctor! No introduction started off with 'Who told you you have XXXXXX? Cocky and arrogant. He made me so uncomfortable I could not think. Made me feel like I was bothering him and wasting his time. Waited over a month to see him and was super disappointed. Do not waste your time.
I’m not sure if I can call this guy a Doctor, he was rude, arrogant, unprepared, unprofessional, insensitive, insulting and all of the above. He did not let me talk and immediately told me that I was ok and I don’t need anything, I got offended and I told him that if he does not want to help me is ok and I can leave and find another Doctor. I went to Dr. Ritt and provided him with a complete history of my issues that started with right side jaw inflammation and then went to right shoulder inflammation to the point of immobility and then right knee swelling, meaning inflammation. I told him that something was wrong because I had always been healthy and rarely go to the doctor but have been spending increasingly more time at doctors because of inflammation that was all on the same side. I have been a patient since diagnosed with RA in 2018. I trust Dr. Ritt, he really is very attentive, interacts well and was very understanding with my hesitancy to take RA medication . I did not want to take any medication, I tried the holistic approach which did nothing except extend my unnecessary pain. Dr. Ritt was very patient and I finally gave in & followed his recommendation. Straightforward, concise, tells you what you have and what you need to do.
I would clinically describe this man as a narcissist- I would avoid him at all costs. My experience revealed his inability to care for human life as he 1. did not meet the bare minimum to care for my illness and 2. treated me as a burden in his vicinity.
Very rude don't waste your time with this Dr.
