Good Indian Cuisine I am not really a huge fan of Indian cuisine, but I really like this restaurant. I do not know if it is because this one is more/less authentic than the other Indian restaurants I’ve frequented in the past, but their food is truly great. This is not really a kid-friendly restaurant, with regards to both atmosphere and menu selection. It is a good place for a date, or romantic dinner.

jAIPUR Jaipur is a local exotic and tasteful Indian cuisine. The authentic Indian food takes its customers on a wild trip to India. The friendly staff and delicious food really makes this restaurant stand out. Buffets are available for lunch and on special holidays. The food can be ordered on certain spice levels including non-spicy, mild, medium, and spicy. Reservations are highly recommended. The restaurant is clean and comfy and the food is just delicious!

Never eat the buffet!!! I went to jaipur with a friend of mine and we ate from the buffet. The food was horrible! The chicken was dry and the sauces tasted watered down as if they had been stretched through the week. I told the owner/server/cashier that the food was not very good. I'd had much better food from there before and I was a bit embarrassed that I had bragged about the place and brought a friend there to have such a bad experience. SPOILED FOOD ON BUFFET – CALLING THE HEALTH DEPT ON THIS ONE! HORRIBLE SERVICE TOO! NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT-OUR FAMILY IS IN THE REST BIZ.

Nothing special about this restaurant. There are much better Indian places in Charlotte.

This is truly not one of the best Indian restaurants Ive been to here in Charlotte. The food is so so and often doesn't seem very fresh. Cafe Nirvana is the best place to go!

Not Horrible – I have visited here one time for lunch while in town on business. They have a small buffet with rice, nan, and about 6 different Indian dishes. I tried each one and they were all decent, but each was only a small variation on the previous one. They did have tandoori chicken also that was pretty good. It did not strike me as the cleanest place, but I did not see any of the crazy things that other reviews have stated. I would go here again.

BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT I EVER VISITED IN STATES!!!!! – Best amongst any indian restaurent with very good quality and reasonable price and the best part is timely delivery..We feel very comfortable and the staff is so cooperative. Wanna get sick!!! Go to Jaipur – Great food but unhygienic. I don't know about you guys, but for me hygiene is important. I ran in to the salad bar with a fly floating in the Raita (Yogurt). The owner simply removed the fly and did not bother to change the pan of yogurt. On more than one occassions, I saw the chef tasting the food with the spoon that was dipped back into the bowl. The same bowl was served to customers. The servers utilize same dirty napkins to clean tables that a customer used. This can cause contamination. ... read more
