Dr. Brownell has treated my asthma for a few years. I needed a form signed by my doctor verifying I have asthma for state assistance. She refused. Despite the urgency and seriousness of my situation, I was met with a flat-out refusal. A refusal which would lead to me not being able to use necessary medical equipment to breathe. There was no regard for my asthma, my survival, or my life. I left feeling dismissed, dehumanized, and deeply disappointed.
