I ordered a door from Loews. The installer never returned my phone calls for 4 days calling 3-4 days and leaving messages to set up an appointment. Then win he did Scheduled an appointment he showed up 3 hours late with no phone calls. Jag Floor is not a good company for installation.
Rip off artists. I had a dear friend working for Lowes who showed me how John and Paul and JAG would over-charge customers through deceptive means. For example, demand tack strip or charges for stick down when they never did the labor. They also charged me for square footage that far exceeded my room dimensions. DO NOT use these crooks. They rip you off with a smile too!
I worked in 3 different stores with Lowe's as a specialist who would work up quotes from JAG. JAG would go out to do the measure, send it back to me, and I would work it up. Lowe's has an agreement with contractors, and prices for every category are predetermined, and agreed upon contractually before installers are hired. Despite this agreement, JAG would ALWAYS price gouge the customers and inflate prices. If tack strip was contracted at .38 cents a linear foot, JAG would always have an excuse to charge more.
