better than average dim sum, lousy service and dirty – First of all, it was difficult to find parking. Once inside, the food was not bad. However, the restaurant was very dirty. They stacked dirty dishes and leave them right in front of the customer. The waiter was inattentive. It seems they only cared about chinese customers and ignored other. The food definitely was not worth the hassle. Would not return.
Go here and have a great time! – Go here and have an awesome dim sum experience! They take reservations, but the place is huge and has enough turnover that you won?t have to wait too long anyway. They have giant tables for big groups, smaller tables are also available and you can sometimes share tables with another group. Best Dim Sum – The only question I have to ask is, why don't they have their own parking lot? If you try parking at the other two dim sum places on the same block and start walking towards Jade Garden some waiter or waitress will usually come out yelling at you. I usually end up parking in the parking lot up underneath the I5 bridge ($3 /hr). I also recommend making a reservation about 20 or 40 minutes before going, it's especially busy around lunch time. BEST DIM SUM - BY FAR - IN SEATTLE!! – I've tried Dim Sum all through the International District of Seattle, as well as Beacon Hill and Bellevue's several Dim Sum restaurants. NEVER had I had Dim Sum anywhere that seemed much better than other places....not until the JADE GARDEN!! This was by far, the best Dim Sum I've ever eaten. And, I've been there many times. It's ALWAYS the same...FANTASTIC, AND ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! After you have Dim Sum at the Jade Garden, you won't be happy anywhere else!
Great for groups. GREAT DIMSUM! – I?ve eaten here dozens of times; most of them were after late nights of getting wasted. Like a few other China Town restaurants this place is open very late on Fridays and Saturdays until 4 or 5AM. The service is typical for Chinatown (inattentive to so-so). Best Dim Sum in Seattle – Let me start off by saying "I'm Chinese, so I know." This place has the absolute, hands down, best dim sum in seattle & vicinity. For anything even close you'd have to drive to Vancouver, BC. The food is fresh and deliciously prepared, service is great. Seattle's top Dim Sum! – This is pretty much the place to go for Dim Sum in Seattle. All of the ingredients of a good Dim Sum house are there. Lots of carts, big crowds, noise, and if you come on a weekend you'll have to wait. Often if you are willing to share a larger table with other people, you can shorten your wait considerably. For some reason, Dim Sum is more fun when served in a bustling environment, and Jade Garden is the best I've found in the ID.
