I have live in this community for 10 yrs and thru 3 management companies. The Gemstone Community management are the absolute worse. They own, what like hundreds of properties, and yet constantly raise the lot rent. When is enough enough for them? On their own website they gross something like 57 million a year. And yet, my lot rent goes up $65.00 to help pay for road work being done this spring. Why? You make enough money already. This is a ride, so here we go. Overall, the community is great. It's quiet, the residents in the area aren't particularly awful and it's a generally wonderful area to live. I can't say the same about the company. Ever since we showed interest in moving states into the place we are now, it has been a nightmare. We first made contact in December of 2022 with a plan to move in June of 2023. Our move-in date came and we moved states (about 960 miles) with what we thought would be a nice, peaceful transition. Had to leave a star, but they don't deserve one. Lot rent has increased 250 dollars a month in the past couple of years. What used to be a pleasant place to live is now managed by an equity management firm that only cares about cash in their pocket. Don't fall for the fake publicity front they are selling.
