I came to Dr. Hacquebord with wrist pain from a previous fall. Dr. Hacquebord insisted on treating me for another condition I did not have with a steroid injection that caused me severe nerve pain for over a month before confirming the source of my pain by x ray. Once the x rays were completed minutes later, I was told I had no option besides ulnar corrective osteotomy surgery. Saved the hand that supposed to be dead according to many NYC top rated doctors. Not a single surgery, stitches or extra invasion. He is the best in his field as a man who knows, loves and dedicates himself. And equally important, implacable bedside manner. He also has an amazing nurse - Sonia.
I had surgery on both wrists for carpel tunnel. In the same year, 3 months apart with Doctor H. Not only was he professional, he was extremely personable and I felt completely at ease doing the surgery. I can do anything now without pain. I healed quickly and was back at work after 5 days. FYI I'm an Executive Assistant so I use my hands constantly. I would recommend him without question.
