An absolutely horrible neurologist who deserves 0 stars. My mother went to her today after her appointment was scheduled a year ago, and the entire time she just gawked at my mother's paralyzed leg and scrutinized her - even telling her to "use it or lose it". I can't express my anger and disappointment towards this "doctor". You're supposed to help people, people who have waited forever to see you, and you can't even be kind.
She was nice and listened however I felt like she thought I was trying to get medication or something. I just wanted a diagnosis. But she said it wouldn't be helpful to me. I am disabled and need diagnosis to be documented. I was just surprised when she said that. It's also necessary for treatment if I were ever to go into the hospital again. Drs don't believe you unless you have a formal diagnosis
Both my daughter and I have Jacqueline for our Neuro. She's thorough and professional but also kind and compassionate. I appreciate someone who, despite all their knowledge, isn't afraid to look for additional help/services for either of us. It's definitely -NOT- a sign of weakness! Her office never takes long to return a call if there are any questions. Her MA is barely professional and definitely not personable, however. Wish Jacqueline had someone else as her MA that had her competency.
I was transferred over to her after my neurologist retired. Jacqueline lacks experience and bedside manners. Her MA is the worst and instead of trying to understand my concerns, Jacqueline advice to go somewhere else for treatment. I am trying for a second opinion at the moment.
