The potato pancakes are a must-try! They come with sour cream and applesauce, and that combination works surprisingly well. The crispy pancakes paired with the creamy and slightly sweet toppings make every bite incredibly satisfying. Everything else we tasted was also flavorful and well prepared. Oldest bar in Detroit, great German food and beer.
One waitress and a whole bar full of people on Sunday after the tigers game. Not sure what was going on but after 25 minutes we left with no drinks or even an acknowledgement. Won't be back theres a million bars around the area ready to serve with ample staff. Also was super loud to the point you cant hear what anyone is saying.
Wow what a great find. Chose Jacoby's because of their German items on there menu. Nichole was our host she was warm welcoming and fun she guided us through the menu. They have a great choice of draft beers and a few unexpected bottles"sams smiths" nobody has that on a bar menu. The food was great. I chose the sosage dinner. we share the pretzel app nice and soft.
