On May 9th around 1 AM on Hwy 60 in Bartow, FL, I had a very unsafe experience with one of this company’s drivers. The truck, which was hauling fuel, made a lane change extremely close to my bumper to the point I thought I was going to be hit. Immediately after, a pickup truck in front of me swerved into the right lane, nearly hitting another semi. I slowed down to avoid a collision and to give the semi enough space to maneuver safely. This company has drivers that are going to kill someone. Driving down highway 60 tonight going home and had their driver flashing their lights at everyone, changing back and forth between lanes and speeding. I wouldn’t waste any of my hard earned money on this company if they allow their drivers to act this way on the roadway.
DO NOT USE JACOBUS! We’ve had them deliver our oil since we bought our house 7.5 years ago. We’ve run dry twice! Had to have an emergency fill up and restart TWICE. We’re on the keep fill program, so how does this continue to happen? At the beginning of December 2025 we ran out of oil and our house dropped to 49 degrees. After the fill up and restart, our furnace died within 8 hours. Had to then have an emergency repair service fix the furnace. At the end of January 2026 we requested another fill.
