Dr. Nurko and his staff are wonderful and very friendly. I had vein ablation in both legs. Their explanations were very clear. He took his time explaining everything during the procedure to minimize the anxiety I had. He was very careful to avoid hurting me. He seems very competent and I would certainly go back if I have any other vascular problems.
I've been seeing Dr. Nurko for several years now as I learn to navigate life with chronic vein problems. I cannot imagine having a more supportive and caring doctor and care team addressing my difficulties. He has a way with making difficult concepts understandable for the non-medical person, without a trace of the condescending manner employed by many in healthcare. Not just a great doctor, but a kind and caring human being.
