Good Food My co-workers and I stopped here because it was close to our hotel. Their food was really very good. We also appreciated the prompt service because we were tired and ready for bed. They were just great.

PLEASE LISTEN. RATS. I USED TO WORK HERE but they unfortunately fired me just after one week bc they found out my address was a homeless shelter address no other reason at all. I was over qualified for this job and had been a waitress before. THERE ARE RATS EVERYWHERE HERE AND THEY CRAWL IN THE CUPS . RATS NEAR THE POS SYSTEMS EVERYWHERE THERE IS ALSO RAT FECES !!!!! RecommendedCharming old school beer hall. Sadly, it was damaged in 2018 due to a fire upstairs, and never re-opened. As of early 2019, the building appears to be for sale, so it looks like the closure may end up being permanent. :-(

German beer selections were the best!! Man I miss this place!!
I had never been disappointed by their food or their beer. It's a german restaurant, why would people get anything out of that lane. Place was fantastic to hit before a show at the Royale. I just hope they open again...
Great ambiance if you like and appreciate a piece of the past, a piece of Boston history and less of the ticky tacky plastic cookie cutter chain establishments all around. Good food, fair pricing, excellent service.
The food has always been very good. And their house lagers are equal with anything else. Love the decor and that it's mostly(?) original. The long bar is incredible.
