Dr. Adams did my hip replacement surgery. I could not have felt more comfortable and in better hands. He has an unbelievable bedside manner, explained everything in complete detail and I never ever felt rushed. In all, an excellent Surgeon, who I would highly recommend.
I have many, many doctors that manage me for a rare form of vasculitis. Dr Adams is one of the best ones I’ve ever had. He did my total hip two years ago, and has seen me for other ortho and sports related issues as well. Always kind, always responsive with messages and truly makes you feel cared about and comfortable. He always takes into consideration my other health issues. We will be doing the other hip soon too, and there is no other ortho I would rather have do it.
Am now 12 days post op after Jiffy knee surgery and am doing all rehab ordered including ROM Tech, exercises suggested by hospital PT and icing. My mobility is increasing. The issue since day 2 has been pain management. I requested medication other than Oxycodone 5 mg that day and so far no action on that. Emailed my Dr. day 7 post op stating extreme discomfort in operative knee and leg during the night, again day 9 stating almost no sleep for 3 nights and needed help managing this. Dr Adams was very patient with me. He answers all of my questions and stayed about 15 minutes. He helped me to understand the surgery procedures.
