As an endocrine surgeon, my elective practice is restricted to the management of patients with benign and cancerous conditions affecting the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands. I strongly believe in multidisciplinary, team-based care for patients whose conditions are complex, and in personalized, efficient care for those whose conditions are less involved. In total, I perform about 350 thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal operations per year.

Very pleased, originally scheduled for 2 surgeries 4 weeks apart but he ended up doing it all in one, 8 1/2 hours, tt and radical neck dissection. Very clean scans afterwards.
Good job on my parathyroidectomy. Apparently it was a difficult removal so I am lucky to have had him as my surgeon. He’s reputed to be the best and I can’t contradict that.
Just had a partial thyroid lobectomy preformed under the care of Dr Moalem on Monday 1/26/22. He was everything I hoped for in surgeon, he has a great sense of humor without being obnoxious, but having someone make you laugh before surgery definitely helps with the anxiety of going under the knife. He was very caring and made sure I was comfortable. My incision looks incredible and he did a great job stitching me up, definitely not a slap happy job. Very well done! Amazing doctor! He spent time explaining things, & made me feel like he truly cared! I was very anxious & his entire team comforted me prior to going to the OR. Wish I had taken care of my hyperparathyroidism much sooner! Highly recommend Dr Moalem! Sweet, sincere, awesome surgeon!
When you talk about professional mannerable knowledgeable individual awesome personality authentic I talk about Dr Moalem the best surgeon I've ever heard of and seen. I was scared as hell to do my first surgery i cried night and day he took time out of his busy schedule and he called me every day leading up to my surgery to make sure I was ok and doing what was recommended for me to do leading up to the surgery. jus simply the BEST.
