Dr. Gunzenhauser is great! He is honest and thorough. All the details of the surgery were covered in a way to prepare me without being overwhelmed. He called right away after my MRI to discuss the results. He is also very careful to ensure the recovery goes smoothly.
Dr. G is an excellent Christ Hospital orthopedic physician and surgeon who recently favored me with a right hip replacement. His pre-surgery and post-surgery diagnosis and personal touch were exemplary--and his assisting staff equally thoughtful and helpful in all respects. At the hospital post surgery he provided me with his personal cell/fax number--and within hours of my many inquiries over the next few weeks (many on weekends) promptly replied with answers. And, bottom line, my hip is healing nicely.
Dr. Gunzenhaeuser is one of the best doctors I've ever had! He communicates professionally with a sincere and caring attitude. He is an extremely skilled surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. G to anyone needing a joint replacement.
Dr. Gunzenhaeuser did such an excellent job that I was able to have my right knee replaced in January and then have the left knee replaced In May. I have met all my goals in physical therapy and am on my way to back to normal and pain free movement. He is thorough, caring and professional and I would recommend him to anyone needing a knee replacement.
