I am not one to leave reviews but this doctor might be one of the WORST narcissists doctors I have ever worked with. It is nice to have a physician at UCLA but this doctor is not worth the hassle. He makes you feel incompetent when you ask for blood panels which is a very easy order. When you insist on it, he pushes back for some reason. The reality is if you do not take care of your health and get the proper labs or see the right doctor, you are the only person that lives with the consequences. Not the doctor. He is beyond wonderful, kind, caring, & I feel it is truly a privilege to have Dr. Gold as my doctor. I have considered moving North, towards the Sausalito area often. One reason I can't seriously make such a move at this time, is because my health care is integral, & Dr. Gold is someone I trust with my health; & based on the years I have been his patient, I have come to know & trust him enough to trust him with my life. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him as a doctor to my closest family members & friends.
I can’t recommend Dr. Gold enough. He’s incredibly thorough, caring, and honest. If any changes are needed, he’s transparent about them. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients’ well-being and takes the time to understand their needs. Plus, he’s easy to talk to and has wonderful bedside manners. Nurse Gigi is also fantastic. He’s a pro at drawing blood—you’ll only feel one poke, and it’s done. He knows how to keep you calm and makes the whole process almost painless.
