As someone who has witnessed the devastation my friend endured under Dr. Crismond’s care, I feel compelled to share this. I rarely write reviews like this, but what she experienced was negligence on an alarming level—something no one should ever go through, especially during pregnancy. Dr. Crismond was my friend’s hospitalist during two separate stays at Baptist Beaches while she suffered with hyperemesis gravidarum, gallbladder attacks, malnutrition, and gastroparesis. As a medical professional myself and someone who actually knew Dr. Crismond before I was ever sick, I never do this…but something has to be done. A lawyer won’t take my case bc medical malpractice is “hard to prove.” But this doctor almost killed me and my unborn baby due to his negligence. Dr. Crismond was my hospitalist for both my hospital stays in November and December. Baptist Beaches and Dr. Crismond did NOTHING while I suffered with hyperemesis gravidarum for months, getting maybe 100-200 calories a day and 10/10 pain... read more
