Dr. Green and the audiologist were great but I have to say they are very much not upfront with what the cost is gonna be. I paid a $50 co-pay at the date or my service. It was never explained to me that I’ll have a separate $50 co-pay for my hearing test then to top things off the doctor looked in my ear and put some type of powder in there which I’ve have had done in the past before, but have never received a bill separately for that nor was I even aware of the cost have to say it’s very offputting and I just sort of feel l... read more

Went for hearing loss a few years ago, told nothing can be done by Dr Green, read lips and use hearing aids. Went on a whim to UF for 2nd opinion at UF and 1 easy surgery later almost all of hearing is back. Thought Dr Green was the go-to in Jacksonville area, guess not.
They requested to keep our CT and MRI scans over the weekend and mail them back and they kept them for several weeks which caused me to have to get new copies to take to other specialists. We also canceled the vestibular testing and requested a refund on the deposit. We did not receive it and when we called again, it turns out they never canceled the appointment or started the refund or had not even sent our disks yet. I have been a patient at Jacksonville Hearing and Balance Institute for over 10 years. The care I have received is outstanding. My hearing loss began early in my life and they have taken great care of me. I highly recommend JHBI.
