I’m editing my post to add a few more compliments because doctor Lau is really wonderful and he’s everything you want in a doctor - he is very knowledgeable and takes time to listen and address problems and explain the situation and the best course of action. He’s someone you can really talk to and trust. Great doctor! Dr. Lau is extremely nice and knowledgeable. I have began to notice some issues with my vision and scheduled a vision test with Dr. Lau after finding him on Google. I called ahead to make an appointment and explicitly asked what the total charge for my visit would be and Julie told me $150. After my vision test I went to check out and was charged $269. Nearly double what I was told on the phone. These bait & switch deceptive practices are extremely sickening. If you are planning on seeing Dr. Lau make sure to get a cost breakdown in writing before committing.
Great doctor! Dr. Lab is extremely nice and knowledgeable. He’s very thorough in his exam and it was very helpful discussing my medical situation with him. The office is centrally located in Beverly Hills and everyone at the office was also so nice nd helpful. I highly recommend Dr Lau! They also work with my insurance(Blue shield PPO)
The office is beautiful, staff is warm and professional and Dr Lau has been my long time eye doctor. Highly recommend!
I went there to see if I was a good candidate for Ortho-K contacts. They explained to me that I wasn't a candidate for that and they thoroughly reviewed other ways that I could address my vision including what their office could do as well as referrals to surgeons they trusted. After that, they refused to charge me. So, I wasn't looking for that, but that's what they did anyway. On top of that, easy to schedule appointments, they are all super nice.
