If I could give 0 stars I would honestly. I called Friday to ask if they took walk-ins, the lady on the phone said yes. So on Monday, (today) We drove ALL the way there, for them to turn us away after we told them it was an emergency. They redirected us 2 hours away to another vet that “maybe is able to help”. I gave them another call back when I got home to ask if they took walk ins to see if they changed the answer to No, and they sure did. First time going to this clinic. Made an appointment a month ago for my pet’s neuter. I drove 45 minutes one way for them to tell me that they had to cancel because the surgeon is out. I understand that things happen but a phone call would have been nice. What a waste of time.
First off if I could give no stars i would. Our three pugs have been seen for three years at Jackson Hwy vet and I've never been overly impressed. On 12/31/20 we had our pug Stacy seen for not feeling well, a cough and lack of appetite. Dr.Spikerman did a examination and blood work. She said nothing showed up. She sent us home with something to help her appetite. Getting worse took her back on 1/13/20 to have her tell me she still can't find anything but it may be her teeth. Sent us home with a antibiotic. RecommendedHigh quality care. Always explain exactly what they find and go over your options for treatment. Love how they will sit on the floor and engage with your dog, just as if it were their own. It is obvious how compassionate they are, even when you have to make the painful decision to say goodbye to your fur baby.

I will never take my cats anywhere else. They have always been excellent, caring, thorough, professional. They saved my mom's cat, Gus, by giving him an experimental life saving procedure for kidney stones. They rerouted his ureter so it comes out under his tail. He has no issues urinating now. It's an amazing thing they did. That was in 2014, so we've had him for another 6 years. I'm just tearing up thinking of it. I am so thankful for everything they've done. I highly recommend the practice.

Had an appointment today. Got a few blocks from our house and the cat peed all over the kennel and it was everywhere, even with pee odd. So had to return home to clean it up. The clinic is a 20-25 minute drive. We called to say we would be late, and they informed us that appointments will be cancelled if 10 minutes late or more. My cat is in dire need of medical care and now there aren’t available appointments until September?
