We had a wonderful time at Jackson Hole Gem Mine very knowledgeable and helpful crew of employees. The facility itself is very clean and inviting and the employees are very social .Loved our visit.
Such a fun place to take kids and even do as adults! I used to love going as a kid and always had a blast seeing what gems were in my bucket. My brothers and I would always compete to see who got the "cooler" gems. Created great memories for us that we still talk about to this day. Every time we pass it on the way up, it creates much nostalgia for us. Definitely a place you should check out and try on your next visit to Highlands!
Without doing the actual mining experience…. It was still cool. Ppl are friendly. Large selection of gems.
Absolutely awesome adventure. My 5 year old as well as a friends 9 and 10 year old absolutely loved it. $30 bucket is what we got for each of them and it was a pretty good haul with different types of stones. Children had a blast and us parents loved watching and helping as well. When we were done outside, we went to the counter inside and got to learn all about what we found. Will definitely be returning next time we are in the area.
We had an absolute blast! Incredibly friendly folks!
