$280 just to file my taxes. Buyer beware. I am single and used the standard deduction. the only special thing I had was my Health Care Marketplace tax form. I didn't find out until after my taxes were prepared that Jackson Hewitt charged $280.00 to do my taxes. $280.00! And the preparer signed me up for automatic marketing, without my express permission, that I will have to unsubscribe to after I start getting bombarded with texts and emails.
