Interesting place, beautiful Mid-century style building. Very high quality elements used during construction, still after so many years (almost 60) in the perfect condition. In the sixties it was most likely one of the most beautiful and luxury equipped buildings in the city. The signs of good, old glory and craftsmanship are still very well visible. Beautiful view (St Louis panoramic view) from the higher stories.
I had a great time in Jackson Arms! It's a great place to live with a very nice and pro-active staff. I'm gonna miss this place!

Great location, great view, great staff, cheap rent, and SEVERE COCKROACH ISSUES. I lived on the sixth floor for one year, couldn't stand the roaches, and moved to the twelveth floor next door to the apartment manager, encouraged by his little hint that "it's better up here." The frequency of roach appearace diminished from three times a day (five+ times a day in summer and barely once a day in winter, to be technical) to three times a week on average, so I guess it got better.
