I bought a DIY kit for my Zf8hp45 and messed up a seal upon installation with result in burning out a clutch pack. Contacted them again,they were so friendly and helpful and would recommend them 1000 times. New parts on the way soon
Jacks rebuilt my Focus ST 6 speed. It would not shift into 3rd or 4th gear. Jacks had a fix swapping out the 3rd and 4th nylon shift forks for brass forks. I would highly recommend Jacks Transmissions. Especially for Focus ST owners.
Jack is a fantastic guy to deal with. His knowledge on transmissions is outstanding. I went from people telling me I needed a $7000 (at best) transmission, to a simple $100 line pressure solenoid (that I can do myself, thanks to all of Jack's online tutorials)! Angela was very helpful and responded to all my questions and daily emails. I would highly recommend Jack's transmission, any chance I get. Prices are also great!!!
I had towed my well traded Ralliart to this shop for transmission work, just wanting to get it back to daily driver level. They were very communicative even with weather closures. They sent me images of issues as they did the breakdown and the rebuild was quick and efficient with replacement of parts that will have fail points later. they were also able to get it to another shop to do a once over before I drove it back to Ohio. It feels snappy and planted better than when I first got it.
