Get it while you can! I'm in the market for updating a few furniture pieces in my home. I stopped in with a friend on Friday to view their new merchandise. This place is a huge warehouse with furniture from across the globe. Very unique pieces and wonderful craftsmanship. I went againg on Monday and the place was cleared out! BUYER BEWARE!!!! I purchased special order new furniture. Finally - 2 months later , the furniture was delivered and all my furniture pieces - 1 couch and 2 love seats were floor model displays. When the owner, Jack was confronted on the phone at the time of delivery - he got very nasty and hung up on me.
Best place to buy fine furniture in the Tri-State area. Is it the cheapest place to buy furniture? No.. I wouldn't go so far as to say overpriced, however. If you are shopping here, you are shopping for high-end OR well-made pieces. If you want cheap and mass produced, then there are plenty of other places to look. Dishonest, Terrible Customer Service, Long wait for furniture Customer service absolutely terrible. Whats worse they are dishonest, and if you need your furniture in 6mos., then I say shop there because thats how long it takes to get it once they take your money.
The real deal, they give you what they advertise. I am glad that I went to this store. My son was looking for furniture in Middlesex area and found this store. Really good prices, I got a whole Bedroom 10 pieces for less than a 1000 dollars, first time I see a store that give you a real deal without a catch, no extra things to buy, they gave me a dresser, 2 night stands, the bed by itself a mirror and even a huge chest. Disgusting place, very rude salesman, misleading advertisement, high prices Went to this store with wife and 5 years old very quiet boy. Walked in, salesman comes over-no smile, asks "What are you looking for?". I say dining room furniture. He walks 2 steps ahead of us all the time, then turns around, tells us to hold our child's hand. That was awkward. Our child is mellow, no running, no talking, nothing. I will shop here again. We bought a loveseat and recliner from Jack's (May 2009). As far as I know they sell only floor models. The ones we picked were in new condition and delivered the next day as promised. If bad reviews are accurate, I can only think Jack's must have changed for the better. There was no problem with delivery either. The only complaint I have is that the salesman had a Bluetooth attached to his ear which gives the impression that the phone call he is waiting for is more important than the customer. Bad Experience I should have read the reviews before going to the store. I had a very similar rude sales person experience as reported by other folks who wrote reviews about this. I am never going to go back to the store to buy any furniture from them, no matter what.
I'm happy with my furniture. I read the reviews, everyone has there own story there are always two sides. My order went well, I am very happy and have referred my friends and they are happy. I would go again. Actually I'm getting my carpeting done with them next month. Do you want an advise? Go to the store, check out the furniture and you'll see. NO GARBAGE THERE. Really good furniture, good quality. Don't forget to check their website, they have coupons that will save you 20 or 25%.
