Sushi was terrible. The seaweed was so tough I had to spit it out. Our friends raves about this place but it did not live up to our expectations

Came in tonight as we are local. We paid the $10 to park JUST to eat here since my husband had a good experience a few weeks ago while volunteering on the harbor walk. The kid sat us and we waited 20 minutes memorizing the menu. It was quiet so I got up to ask another hostess if we could get a server as I figured we were overlooked. Our server was amazing, the food was great, we were told a 45 min wait but it was only about 15 mins. We will definitely go back next time we are here

I had only been at Jackacuda’s once before my last visit. I’m vegetarian, so I didn’t have many options. Last time, I asked the waitress what options they had and she told me about some of them and she also said she could ask the cook to make a special complete meal for me instead. The dish was huge, full of grilled veggies, avocado and delicious mashed potatoes. I couldn’t have been happier with it! I really recommend it for vegetarian people who don’t know where they can go grab a bite.
Tried the Backdown 2 sushi roll based off of a recommendation from the hostess; I’m so glad I did because it was delicious! I would almost say it’s the best sushi I’ve ever had! The management is terrific and there was no wait - we went around 6 pm on a Thursday night.
This place has some awesome food and excellent service. My hubby got the mac n-cheese with the pork . Oh my, the portion was huge! It is homemade and the best we've ever had. Don't miss out on some delicious food.
