Three months after Jack the Roofer (JTR) installed a new roof on our house, extensive damage done by JTR to a large portion of our soffit remains unaddressed. This damage was completely avoidable, given JTR's owner, Mr. Jack*******, was informed twice by the homeowner, before the re-roofing contract was even executed, that short roofing nails were to be used over soffit areas. Buyer Beware on Jack The Roofer... F Rating with BBB, his contractors license is not valid. I made the mistake of using them a couple of years ago. During the recent rain we were hit with a leak. I called Jack Bohm (Jack the Roofer) to schedule the repair - I have a 30 yr warranty - he ignored my calls, wouldn't return any of them. I eventually sent an email stating that if I didn't hear back from him I would have to take harsh measures, like filing a complaint with CSLB etc..etc.. We are getting solar and we found out that we had one bad tile on our roof. We were referred to Jack The Roofer from the solar company. Jack said he would fix the bad tile along with approximately 19 more tiles that needed to be fixed. Luckily, we happened to have 20 roof tiles that were left when we bought the house and we requested that he use our tile. Great Quality Service! – I can't be happier with my roof installation from Jack The Roofer Inc.! From the office staff to the clean-up crew the professionalism was top notch! I know nothing about roofing and Jack took the time to explain to me in words I could understand!
Jack the Roofer – Your guys were great! They came in and fixed the leak over the bedroom chimney right away, and cleaned up afterwards. What I really liked was that they were respectful - even my dog liked them!

Jack the rip off is dysfunctional – Horrible work. After over charging and telling us all this extra stuff was needed for our roof. The roof still leaked and was leaking more. They tried to charge us even more to come back and fix the roof even though they never fixed to begin with. How do dysfunctional companies like this stay in business. I would go with someone else
