Great flavors selection, generous portions and smart, efficient, friendly service. Down-to-earth shop, great radio station or Sirius channel makes for a homey, indie, local-centric vibe. Beats BR any day!
This is the best ice cream ever. And trust me, I know my ice cream. If you've ever been at the Penn State Creamery, this is better than that. We've been coming for years and will admit, I was scared the first time we went that a man in a hooded robe without a face would be dipping my ice cream. However it turns out the staff is very friendly! Turns out it was Jack the Dipper, not Ripper. Don't be scared to try it! It will set you free! Especially the apple pie ice cream, wow! Customers for life, I think.
The ice cream is really really good...but those fresh, warm cones are the stuff of legends.

Our family absolutely LOVES Jack the Dipper! Waffle cones made fresh upon order and scoop ice cream that is outa this world! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: first date, couples date night, friends hang out, family time ... anything goes!
Our son and daughter are students at WCU and every time we come to visit them, a trip to Jack the Dipper is a MUST! The Coastal Praline Crunch in a cinnamon waffle cone is AMAZING!!!
