Extremely disappointed with the Healthcare provided by Dr. Shen. We waited for six months for the appointment, the office staff were extremely rude and unhelpful, Dr. Shen spent less than five minutes in the room. He barely asked my Mother what her issues were. Before attempting to give any assistance or help in any way, He pulled her chart looked for the last Neurologist she had seen at Wellstar, then proceeded to blame Dr. Young while offering zero insight or advice of his own. Made my wife feel heard and understood.
Dr Shen is very knowledgeable in his field. Questions that I wasn't able to get even a partial answer from other Neurologists. He was happy to share what he was familiar with. His bedside manner and area of expertise along with his team is an absolute winning combination. I feel so blessed to be his patient.
Appointment scheduling is a disgrace. I had to drive to office to get any response. Receptionist was very nice but clearly in over her head (not her fault).
