Would not help when I had a problem with Erie Insurance. They use Erie which is a low-rated company.

If you're looking to insure a classic boat, or any boat from the 50's, 60's or 70's -- no matter how carefully and thoroughly restored--don't bother. Response from the agent: "I am not able to provide insurance quotes due to the age of the vessel." I was able to successfully get quotes from several companies "represented" by this agent by going around them.

We no longer write boat insurance effective Jan. 1 2017 except for Erie insureds. However if someone does call us we do refer them to another yacht Insurer. We have no record of you calling our agency as we hold a list.
