My 4th time here and as always was excellent. I have brought 4 different groups of guests and am never disappointed. Food and service are always great-best salads in town
UPDATE: Spoke with the Chef, Danny. Very professional and courteous. Thanks to him for taking the time to contact me and discuss last night’s service. I think we both understood each other’s viewpoint and accepted each other’s apologies. Thanks to Danny’s efforts, I will be giving @JackMackerelsIslandGrill another visit next time we are in Kure Beach. When we go back, I’ll update my review. Regardless of issue last night, Jillian was a great server.
This was our first time dining. Our server was friendly and food was prepared quickly. I was disappointed by the soap scum in the women’s bathroom.
Wow first time over to Jack Mackerels Island Grill!! We was treated by some terrific friends who opened their home to my son & me during this time of healing from dealing with the loss of my dear Bruce. We celebrated his life & early b~day, the 8th, for me. Great place to eat! Our server, Jillian, was very attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and gave great suggestions on what to eat. The steak was cooked perfect with great flavor. The rolls with homemade honey butter were SO good! We will definitely be coming back!
We're here for a week and have eaten here twice already. Great service and amazing food...crab dip, seafood penne, teriyaki wings, Cubana sandwich and the Mad Jumbie shrimp skewers. We highly recommend checking them out. Thanks for 2 great dining experiences!!!
