Pretty to visit but don't get a hotel there unless you prefer loud train whistles all night long.

One of the nicest hangout spots in OAK!
Not bad but they need to keep up with cleaning all the pigeon crap off of the railings near the Forge pizza place and kincaids....I know it's an ongoing thing but it must be done constantly it looks ridiculous when it's all covered in crap.....
Perfect place do be for stand up paddleboarding and kayaking. Nice restaurants to dine in afterwards and there's always something fun happening every weekend.
Best stay in oakland. And i will be back in october...
You MUST NOT come to Oakland and leave without finding a special event here to enjoy. There's great restaurants of varying flavors and enjoyment levels. From the ritzy and classy to the more comfortable and casual eating environment. Please...please...I beg of you, check-out local events calendar (especially in good weather months) and come enjoy live entertainment (Dancing Under The Stars-weekly; health related events and demonstrations; bands and musical performance, bocce bowling, etc.) Or, just take a minute and enjoy a ... read more
