Jabez Elder Care is a terrible place to send a loved one. It used to be a great facility when Lori, the owner, actually had staff. She now has a low census so she doesn't have to hire staff, and can keep all of the money herself. She has been arrested previously for not refunding a family for giving awful care to their loved one, and not showing up to the lawsuit. She also has another lawsuit pending where a man actually died from her neglect. I would not recommend this to anyone.
Two years ago I had very serious surgery and was hospitalized for 2 weeks. The Dr. would not let me come home as I live alone. I chose Jabez. It was the BEST choice I ever made. Wonderful setting and staff. Such personal care and I felt I was home. I was there for a week.
