RecommendedThey care about the Seniors in the Area. Several people came to the Louisa County Commission on Aging Holiday Luncheon to present a display of what JABA does. Some talked individually with some of those there to get a better feel for needs and attitudes. Ginger travels from Charlottesville at least once a month to support Louisa CoA.

An amazing resource for seniors in the community
My mother attended JABA adult day care while family worked in order to be able to continue to reside in her home. Later her great-granddaughter joined her in the children’s day care offered in the same facility. They both made great friends - companionship, laughter and love found inside those walls. In the last month one started kindergarten and the other’s spirit moved on to meet her loved ones. The respect, gratitude and affection I have for JABA is immeasurable.
My wife appeared for a part time job in esmont senior center she was interviewed for it then the person got done and didn't give anything to the right person so no one had a chance not happy in how they run things there.

My mother was paralyzed on her right side from a stroke. The entire time she was there the staff constantly complained about her. They suspended her for awhile for medical reasons but we always felt like they discriminated against her because of her medical limitations. She died last month & not a word of comfort, sympathy or condolence was offered to our family.
