I rented from Jeff for 7 years and was nothing but great. Mainers the property and was always quick with any repairs or issues. I would rent from him again no question.
The land lord is....well. you see the previous reviews. The Apts used to be ok. Now they are overpriced and just not updated. They are decent but by no means worth what is charged. I believe inflation is partly to blame. Though I don't like Jeff due to circumstances, I was never treated rudley or unfairly. He responded promptly to maintenance requests. Rented at 410 fair street in Sycamore Il and was completely jipped on security deposit. Received barely anything even after going above and beyond to clean it and leave it better than I moved in. Instead of helping or understanding the landlord deflected and blamed everything. Believe all the negative reviews. They will steal your security deposit. I asked permission to mount a tv and was told yes, then later landlord said just because he said I could mount it doesn’t mean he has to pay for the holes it left. Slimy, disgusti... read more
