About this business
We are a new restaurant in a familiar space serving up hand-cut steaks, dry aged on site in our own Himalayan salt aging room. We are crafting cocktails from the finest spirits and fresh squeezed juices and baking all of our breads and desserts on site in our in-house bakery. We are bringing an elevated spin to traditional Texas Fare. Our notable wine list is value-priced every day, with Half Priced bottles of wine every Wednesday.

This is a must if you haven’t been. They’ve done a remarkable job on the building. The food was amazing. Great ambiance and the service was excellent. Can’t say enough about this place!! Can’t wait to go back!
The food was good. We ordered filets and hanger steak. The filets melted in your mouth. The hanger steaks were a little tough, but might just be the cut of the meat. Bread, lobster Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, bandidos, and the mocha sundae were delicious. Service was fantastic! Will definitely be back.
It was a bit pricey but overall it was really good I loved the flavor of the meats, (we all shared bites of the ribs, steak, fish, and scallops). The atmosphere was great, I especially liked the fact that the music wasn’t too loud, that you could carry on a conversation with the rest of the table. As with any new Resturant it had a few kinks but overall it was really good! The s’more cheesecake was to die for!

The BEST steak I’ve ever had in my life! The owners and staff were inlets attentive to all our needs and made suggestions that greatly enhanced our dining experience. Jonathan Pauley is truly a top notch chef; what a gem! The thought that has gone into EVERY detail is evident in everything from the food to the table dressings and preservation of all things historically tied to this building. Exquisite.
Wow! J2 Steakhouse in Old Town Lewisville is outstanding! The bread, Quail Quarters, Scallops, Filet & Lobster, Fiddlehead Ferns, and Red Beet Creme Brûlée are all amazing. We can’t wait to try more of the menu in the future. Congratulations to the Murray family and Chef Jonathan Pauley. What a great reinvention of the old Feed Mill!
Absolutely wonderful!!! Love that the new J2 included the James POLSER family heritage while bringing delicious upscale dining to our favorite old feed mill. Beautifully done. Service was amazing- thank you to the Murrays and to Boyd and staff. J2 will be THE PLACE to go in Denton Co ♥️

These guys did a beautiful job with the feed mill and have created something that we can all be proud of, while maintaining the history that it holds. The steaks are amazing, the drinks to die for and the bread and butter was the best we've ever had. I want to put that butter on everything! We can't wait for them to be open for lunch - soon! Thank you for putting so much love into the place that holds so much history for Old Town Lewisville!
