Wish I could give a zero. The lady that did my nails was a little older and acted as if she hasn’t gone to school to paint properly. Paint was very lumpy (I know it’s cause the products were old), Their colors are awful to pick from so I chose something simple. Surely, they couldn’t mess up a French tip gel mani and pedi, She had got hair fuzzys caught in my paint and refused to start over again to properly remove the hair so that the canvas could be clean and smooth in order for the paint to be smooth and lay flat ( tbh the... read more

I like this salon and have for years. It's clean, fully staffed, professional and efficient. The staff is friendly and the prices are decent. My pedicures have never disappointed me. It feels like I've had a foot transplant afterwards. (I should go more frequently, Lol) But I always feel pampered and relaxed afterwards. I live down the street in Rowlett but it's worth only driving 10-12 minutes down the road to Garland to be a consistent satisfied customer. I approve this message!! (Duh, I wrote it) Bye y'all 😘

I went in recently after having a mani/pedi there a few times. The previous visit was annoying because business was slow and the staff curled up on the salon chairs or sat at empty station and spoke loudly in their native language giggling and laughing. I went in last time and endured the same. When you are paying for a “spa” experience, some professionalism and serenity are expected. Don’t look for it at JV Nails.

I recently had my nails done by a man at this salon and I regret not checking the reviews first. He did a terrible job and my nails are uneven. Furthermore, he used the drill at high speed which made my nails throb. I do not recommend this place.
