DONT LIVE AT J STREET APT! My husband and I, our two dogs, plus another couple have lived here for 6 months now and hated every min of it! We are breaking our lease and moving out this weekend due to mold in the apt. The only Pro is that they allow dogs. Cons: 1 Rent is way too much for what you get. 2 Maintenance is terrible! The guy cannot speak English, and he ruined our bathroom rug with his muddy feet when he attempted to fix our toilet :( 3 MOLD, MOLD, MOLD! In all of the buildings! The worst management that I ever have!! You can't even find a parking due to the other apartment resident. Seem like no one take care of this issue although I complain to the manager for several time. Trush station is the worst, no one will take care of the apartment condition during weekend, no contact number for you to contact the owner. Seem like the manager cover up everything. Not recommand!!
living in downtown The J Street Apartments are, of course, located on J Street. They're a bit far from the campus, but it's a lot quieter out here. The management group has been good so far, but that doesn't include moving day. The maintanence reply can be slow, so its easier to just learn how to do it yourself instead. The apartment complex itself seems a bit older than others, but is reliable.
