The initial call for a toilet repair seemed straightforward, but the final bill was far from it. Each time the plumber "discovered" a new part that needed replacing, the cost went up. What started as a simple fix turned into a much more expensive project due to a series of add-ons. The toilet is working now, but the constant price hikes were frustrating and made the experience feel dishonest.
I texted them 4 times to send the video of the sewer line. Never sent despite selling the job that this was a specific feature/benefit of using them.
J Sewer and Drain Plumbing was fantastic! They came out quickly, diagnosed the issue with a camera, and cleared the main line without trying to upsell anything. Honest, professional, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
Service was extremely prompt and comprehensive they were at my door 40mins after I hung up. There’s a $65 diagnostic fee which is understandable considering their plumbers are professionals and their time is valuable. But it did cost $275 to clear my shower drain (they did tell me after looking the job over before beginning their work). Which for that price I could purchase all the equipment they brought to diy.
