I wouldn't even give him one star but I had to give a star here. He's rude and not professional. He should have been a used car salesman. Take your kid somewhere else if possible. It's been a while since this happened but his behavior that day has stuck with me. I feel bad for those with no choice but to have their kid evaluated by him.
1 star would not allow no stars to rate. This Dr is horrible, absent minded, forgetful, lacks any kind of common sense and loves to play games with appointments and prescriptions. And of course he always passes the blame on the insurance company or the pharmacy but rest assured we have done the leg work and it always comes back to him. Having to go weeks without meds is not safe. And if he makes a mistake he will not call you to get it fixed, he just has the receptionist make another appointment. Dr. Trayer is wonderful. He takes a mind, body and soul approach which I believe has helped me more than ANY psychiatrist I’ve worked with (and I’ve worked with more than a handful). He’s the first psychiatrist EVER to send me for blood work before prescribing a med to see how it will effect my body. He’s gentle yet persistent in nature. I would not go anywhere else. Liz at the front desk is also great! She’s courteous, diligent, and professional.
My son was seeing another psychiatrist that doctored along with Dr. Trayer. She was fantastic and really was trying to help. Then she quit and my son had to then go to Dr. Trayer. Unfortunately, even though he was gentle with my son in talking, he mustn't have cared because we were told he would fill my sons scripts and not to see him for 2 months. would not recommend this place I went to get help and he fell asleep on me now I lost money and wasted my time. Thank you Trayer for putting more stress on me!
