RUN - don't walk! After waiting 2 months for initial appointment, they said they'd call with a colonoscopy date but never called - so I called. Several days later, they finally called me back and told me that they can't even schedule me for at least 6 more months, even with a family history of colon cancer. Not impressed with any part of this practice. Unfriendly staff ('sorry - bad connection - I can't hear anything you're saying!' etc! Oldest trick in the book!) Find a practice that cares!
He is the most awful Doctor I have EVER been to see and have a colonoscopy with. He is inhuman and self absorbed. No wonder after 15 years he is accepting new patients!
He is one of the worst doctors that’s I have ever seen in my life. Rude, unprofessional, had the same surgery twice and both failed and he doesn’t want to admit that they failed. Loser. You have been warned, stay away, you will regret it. I wish I can sue him. He is good for anything but not for being a doctor. Do your self a favor and find a doctor because this thing is not a doctor, doesn’t even know anything about customer service and how to talk to people
Dr. Zegarra is fantastic in all aspects. On my initial consultation he spent over an hour with me, comforting me, assuring me and going over the surgical procedure that would be taking place for my rectal cancer. I am going into my second year cancer free. I literally owe this man my life. to me his will always be more than just a Doctor. I am eternally grateful. Peter Perez
DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. Read the reviews online. He has been reprimanded by the medical board for inappropriate behavior. I have a compliant filed as well. I went in for a routine colonoscopy appointment. And he performed an two unnecessary examines AND he did not leave the room when I undressed. Stay away.
he advised if left untreated i soon could need a colostomy bag. so with urgency an appt was made. well i received his bill and it turns out his receptionist amber knew nothing of what she was talking about. i received a bill for $278! no insurance copayment. when i called her and asked what was going on she explained she made a mistake. i reminded her of what i said that day (if not in network how i will leave that very moment and go to one who is in network.. and how my buddy heard her say i
He answered all my questions.. Also, went into great detail on the procedures he would be doing..
This doctor is terrible. His way of asking questions is almost to the point of not wanting you to be in his office. His demeanor is questionable. I will not recommend this doctor to my family and friends.
